Last night's after dinner dessert was a chocolate sponge cake with creme chantilly (whipped cream) with a little bit of powdered sugar and vanilla). It was light and air-y almost like a chocolate angel food cake.
New favorite so far. This was just right, not too moist, not too dry, not bitter, not too sweet, just a nice balance. The best part is it is supposed to be served warm and I had it about 3 minutes after it came out of the oven. Eating fresh, warm sponge cake and watching "Minute To Win It," not too shabby.
I think you need to come back to the place where it all began, move back to the Springs! Your desserts look amazing and Harrison and Shepard are pretty delicious as well! Best wishes to you with this venture and congratulations on your beautiful family! -- Cheryl
