Chocolate Sponge Cake with Creme Chantilly

Last night's after dinner dessert was a chocolate sponge cake with creme chantilly (whipped cream) with a little bit of powdered sugar and vanilla). It was light and air-y almost like a chocolate angel food cake.

  1. New favorite so far. This was just right, not too moist, not too dry, not bitter, not too sweet, just a nice balance. The best part is it is supposed to be served warm and I had it about 3 minutes after it came out of the oven. Eating fresh, warm sponge cake and watching "Minute To Win It," not too shabby.
